Ruth’s+ theological premise rests entirely in the living out of the Great Commandment- To love God, neighbor and self. One must strive to live life so that all that one does and says gives ho nor and glory to God and provides for the welfare of ALL of God’s creatures. There are no qualifiers for this; there are no exclusions or exceptions.

In addition to her pastoral responsibilities, she has served as a chaplain for Hospice and is a Spiritual Director trained through the Shalem Institute, Baltimore, MD.  She is the wife of Richard J. Paulus, MD, with whom she worked for 25 years. The mother of four adult children, and twelve grandchildren, she enjoys reading, gardening, most all things Celtic, the theater, dancing and needle working in her free time.
